Graduate Researchers

We are accepting students for Fall 2025.  Motivated students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. or M. S. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Materials Science and Engineering Program (MSE), or Bioengineering (BIEN) are encouraged to apply. Our interdisciplinary research group has attracted members from a variety of fields including electrical engineering, materials science and engineering, bioengineering, physics, biology, chemical engineering, chemistry, and biochemistry, among others. Interested applicants should include Prof. Haberer's name in their Statement of Purpose, and then contact Prof. Haberer via email.  We are looking for dedicated and creative students with strong undergraduate backgrounds and who share our interest in harnessing the power of functional nanobiomaterials and devices.

M. S. students who have already been accepted to a UCR graduate program and are interested in completing a M. S. thesis, please contact Prof. Haberer.
